Alexa Skills Kit (ASK) is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their team focused on enabling millions of developers to create skills for Alexa. The role involves working with cutting-edge Large Language Model (LLM) technologies to make Alexa more natural, accurate, and conversational. You'll be part of the team building the Alexa Skills Kit that developers use to expand Alexa's capabilities across millions of devices.

The position sits within the Alexa Skill Builder Growth team, whose mission is to enable Skill Builders to grow their business on Alexa. You'll work on building intelligent web services and intuitive tools that help drive skill discoverability and enable natural interactions between skills and users. The team is actively experimenting with new ways to drive Skill Builder growth and implementing successful approaches at scale.

Your day-to-day will involve morning huddles, whiteboard design discussions, project implementation, and code reviews. You'll be working in a collaborative environment where team members support each other while pushing technical boundaries. The role offers significant opportunity to impact the design, architecture, and implementation of products used daily by millions of customers.

Key technologies include Large Language Models (LLM) and cloud services. You'll be responsible for building high-quality software that runs on millions of Echo family devices and Alexa-enabled devices. The role requires strong architectural thinking, ability to make technical trade-offs, and drive engineering best practices.
