The role is within the Alexa Skill Build Platform team, whose charter is to enable internal and external partners to build exceptional Alexa+ experiences by managing the lifecycle of "experts" - systems, capabilities, APIs, and instructions that allow Alexa+ to accomplish specific customer tasks.

As a Software Development Engineer, you'll be:

• Building software that runs on millions of Echo devices using latest technologies including Large Language Models
• Taking a long-term view of architecture and proactively improving systems
• Making technical trade-offs with business impact in mind
• Driving engineering best practices in operations, security, and quality
• Building consensus and finding optimal solutions when faced with different viewpoints
• Contributing to colleagues' professional development
