The role offers significant growth potential, working directly with senior engineering leadership across Amazon Business, Consumer Prime, and Marketing.

As a Software Development Engineer, you'll be part of a team focused on building solutions for business customers ranging from SMBs to enterprise-level organizations. The position involves working on multiple product portfolios, giving you broad exposure to Amazon's ecosystem including buying experience, seller experience, customer acquisition, and account management.

You'll be applying Amazon's innovation mechanisms and AWS technologies, including native AWS services and machine learning at scale. This is an opportunity to join a new team where you can help shape the culture and contribute to the rapid expansion of Amazon Business across multiple marketplaces.

Responsibilities For Software Development Engineer, Amazon Business

  • Build solutions for business customers of all sizes
  • Work on expansion launching in multiple marketplaces
  • Work with different AB teams across buying experience, seller experience, Customer Acquisition, Account Management
  • Apply Amazon innovation mechanisms and AWS technologies including machine learning at scale
  • Participate in code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

Requirements For Software Development Engineer, Amazon Business

  • Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
  • Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent (preferred)
