Software Development Engineer - Amazon Fulfillment Technologies

Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their team that powers Amazon's global fulfillment network. AFT builds and operates the software, hardware, and processes that run the global network of fulfillment centers, moving billions of units of inventory and ensuring customers get what they want when promised.

The role involves working on innovative automation solutions using advanced algorithms and real-time data processing with large-scale distributed systems. You'll be utilizing object-oriented programming, Elastic Map Reduce, DynamoDB, and other AWS technologies to tackle challenges from massive order volume scaling to ultrafast order fulfillment.

As an SDE II, you'll collaborate with highly talented engineers to deliver scalable solutions, working on everything from requirements gathering to technical design, coding, and operational support. The position offers significant scope and can serve as a stepping stone to a Senior SDE role.

The team is part of AFT Safety and Compliance organization, which owns products that identify, track, and mitigate EHS concerns as well as Supply Chain Compliance systems. Their vision is to empower Amazon businesses to define and implement regulatory and operational standards through centralized systems.
