Software Development Engineer, Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT)

Amazon's Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) is seeking Software Development Engineers to innovate and build highly available, scalable real-time fulfillment systems. As part of a small team, you'll work on high-impact projects affecting thousands of associates in Amazon fulfillment centers worldwide.

The role involves building a unified platform with machine learning capabilities to help FC associates predict and resolve operational blockers independently. You'll work across various Amazon FC types including robotic FCs, sortable, non-sortable, Prime Now, Fresh, and Flexi facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Full software development lifecycle involvement from scoping to delivery
• Architecting and designing scalable fulfillment systems
• Building automations to improve FC operability and associate productivity
• Working with cutting-edge technology for global order fulfillment
• Contributing to innovative solutions for complex operational challenges

The Platform Engineering & Services team within AFT focuses on leveraging data, process improvement, and innovative technologies to provide comprehensive engineering excellence across AFT's product portfolios.
