Software Development Engineer, Amazon Fulfillment Technology Safety & Compliance (AFT S&C)

Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their Safety & Compliance team. This role focuses on developing systems that identify and manage billions of inventory units flowing through Amazon's fulfillment centers.

As an SDE in the AFT S&C team, you'll work on:

• Building cutting-edge systems to validate compliance for items in Amazon's Fulfillment Network
• Designing and developing mission-critical software solutions
• Creating scalable systems handling large data volumes in real-time
• Participating in full software development lifecycle
• Troubleshooting complex issues across multiple systems

The role involves working with diverse technologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers and other engineering teams. You'll be responsible for ensuring Amazon customers receive safe products while maintaining fulfillment processes that are safe and compliant for associates and customers.

The team delivers complex, innovative, scalable solutions to manage compliance for the end-to-end lifecycle of all physical goods across Amazon's fulfillment network. This includes ensuring safe handling, storage, shipment, and delivery for billions of items.
