Software Development Engineer, AWS Direct Connect

The AWS Direct Connect software engineering team builds solutions that make it easy for customers to establish dedicated network connections from their premises to the AWS cloud. These connections help reduce network costs, increase bandwidth throughput, and provide a more consistent network experience than Internet-based connections. AWS Direct Connect is currently available in more than 91 locations across 28 countries.

As a Software Development Engineer on the AWS Direct Connect team, you will:

• Design and implement features within large-scale distributed systems
• Build scalable, fault-tolerant solutions that meet customer demands
• Work on critical workloads requiring operational excellence
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to build innovative products
• Influence product direction through technical leadership
• Participate in on-call rotation to support team services
• Mentor teammates and help them develop technical skills
