Description For Software Development Engineer, AWS Direct Connect Control Plane

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their AWS Direct Connect Control Plane team. This role is crucial in designing, developing, and supporting features within the AWS Direct Connect service, which enables customers to establish dedicated network connections from their premises to AWS cloud.

AWS Direct Connect is a critical service operating in over 91 locations across 28 countries, helping customers reduce network costs, increase bandwidth throughput, and provide consistent network experience. The team builds large-scale distributed systems that are essential for AWS's global infrastructure.

As a Software Development Engineer, you'll work on designing and implementing features that directly impact customer experience. You'll collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to build innovative solutions in a large distributed computing environment.
