Software Development Engineer, AWS Infrastructure Services

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their Global Accelerator team, a critical component that powers AWS's worldwide infrastructure. This role focuses on developing and maintaining a Software Defined Networking service that enhances network performance for various applications including video games, streaming platforms, and social media applications. The position offers the opportunity to work on globally distributed systems operating across 29 AWS Commercial regions.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about distributed systems and clean code implementation. You'll be responsible for creating new features for our global network offering, engaging directly with AWS customers, collaborating with other AWS service owners, and delivering solutions that delight our users. This role is central to AWS's infrastructure, helping maintain and improve the systems that keep the cloud running.
