Software Development Engineer, AWS Proactive Security Detective Tooling

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Proactive Security Detective Tooling (PSDT) team is seeking a Software Development Engineer passionate about security-at-scale. This role focuses on building services that discover and audit AWS-owned websites for security misconfigurations. The team is responsible for the security and availability of all AWS services, including EC2, S3, and over 100 others.

As a member of this high-visibility team, you'll work on solving challenging web-based problems at scale, including crawling, fuzzing, user journeys, and CI/CD integration. The role involves developing robust large-scale distributed systems for processing data and providing technical leadership to other engineers. You'll collaborate closely with Application Security, Threat Intel, Security Operations, and Security Analyst teams to drive security improvements across AWS.
