Software Development Engineer, AWS Region Services

AWS Region Services is seeking Software Development Engineers to join their team working on critical tooling that provides insights about AWS services and regions globally. This role offers the opportunity to work on highly visible projects that impact hundreds of teams at Amazon. As part of the team, you'll build cloud-native data solutions processing telemetry data across AWS, enabling efficient multi-region service operations.

The position involves developing both frontend and backend systems, working with technologies like Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and various databases. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including SREs, frontend engineers, and technical program managers to build highly available services that support Amazon's global infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include developing web applications and APIs, designing scalable backend systems, and creating intuitive frontend interfaces. You'll also participate in on-call rotations and work to ensure system reliability and fault tolerance.
