Join AWS Data Center Systems & Automation team in building critical services that monitor and operate data center infrastructure, including Cloud SCADA systems. This role focuses on developing applications that ensure AWS data centers run efficiently and securely. You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies like Java, graph query language (Gremlin), DynamoDB, and various AWS services.

As part of AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS), you'll be at the heart of keeping the cloud running, supporting all AWS data centers and their essential equipment. The team tackles complex problems in massive data ingestion, distributed cloud computing, data visualization, anomaly detection, and graph databases.

  • Lead design, development, testing and launch of new data center inventory and topology services
  • Collaborate with team members and engineers across teams

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Experience with design patterns, reliability and scaling of systems
