Software Development Engineer(Android), Fire TV Experience - Berlin

As a Software Development Engineer focusing on Android, you'll be part of a 40+ member team building essential Fire TV device components that enhance user interaction and control. This role offers the opportunity to work on products used by millions of customers worldwide, with the team having significant autonomy in their Berlin-based operations.

The position involves implementing core features across all Fire TV devices (TVs, Sticks, Cubes, and others), with a focus on continuously improving the daily experience for users. You'll be working in an Agile environment with complete team ownership of the scope and domain, contributing to both client and service implementations.

As part of Amazon's Fire TV organization's Berlin branch, you'll collaborate with a Berlin-based leadership team while maintaining strategic connections with partner teams in Seattle for UX support. The team is responsible for delivering worldwide-spanning features and maintains almost complete cross-functional ownership of components and roadmap.
