Join Amazon's GFT team within Corporate FP&A as a Software Development Engineer, where you'll build highly scalable services and infrastructure using AWS technologies. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of Amazon's enterprise-wide financial planning & analytics environment, directly contributing to decision-making by the CFO and finance leadership.

As a Software Engineer, you'll drive technology choices and lead continuous innovation, building services that enable Finance teams to access information quickly and make impactful decisions. You'll work closely with data engineers, product managers, UX designers, and front-end engineers to understand requirements and lead the design and development of software services.

The GFT team is a cross-functional engineering team that enjoys a unique vantage point into everything happening within Amazon. Your work will focus on building tools that enhance productivity, improve financial accuracy, reduce waste, and improve work-life harmony for a large and rapidly growing finance user base.

Key responsibilities include designing scalable platform components, writing clean code, performing code reviews, and working in an agile environment. You'll also establish architectural principles, select design patterns, and mentor team members. The role requires strong technical skills, with 3+ years of professional software development experience and expertise in system design and architecture.
