Software Development Engineer, GFT, Corporate FP&A

Join Amazon's GFT team within Corporate FP&A as a Software Development Engineer, where you'll build highly scalable services and infrastructure using AWS technologies. You'll work closely with data engineers, product managers, UX designers, and front-end engineers to understand requirements and lead the design and development of software services.

The GFT team is a cross-functional engineering team that enjoys a unique vantage point into everything happening within Amazon. Your work will focus on building tools that enhance productivity, improve financial accuracy, reduce waste, and improve work-life harmony for a large and rapidly growing finance user base.

Key responsibilities include designing scalable platform components, writing clean code, performing code reviews, and working in an agile environment. You'll also establish architectural principles, select design patterns, and mentor team members. The role requires strong technical skills, with 3+ years of professional software development experience and expertise in system design and architecture.
