Description For Software Development Engineer, HWEng Analytics & Data Engineering Team

AWS Hardware Engineering is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join their Analytics and Data Engineering team. This role is crucial in building data infrastructure and services that transform hardware monitoring data into insights through advanced analytics.

The position involves creating, deploying, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems for collecting telemetry across multiple regions. As part of the AWS HWEng team, you'll be responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure - essentially keeping the cloud running smoothly.

The role offers an opportunity to work on challenging problems involving thousands of supply chain variables. You'll join a diverse team including data, BI, software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, and security experts. Collaboration across AWS teams is essential to maintain the highest standards for safety and security while optimizing capacity and cost efficiency.
