Amazon's India and Emerging Market Selling Partner Engagement team is seeking a Software Development Engineer II (SDE2) to drive strategic initiatives for their e-commerce systems. The position is based in Bangalore and focuses on developing tech solutions that empower sellers to serve the next billion customers. You'll be responsible for architecting and implementing new system capabilities from the ground up, working with cutting-edge technologies including GenAI in a large-scale e-commerce context.

The team operates in a high-performance, co-located agile environment where engineers work closely with Product Managers and Principals, maintaining direct contact with end customers through seller visits and customer feedback. This connection allows engineers to significantly influence product direction and create meaningful impact through their technical contributions.

As an SDE2, you'll be responsible for designing software solutions, improving subsystem compatibility, developing new methodologies, and building major utilities. The role requires expertise in creating highly performant features, preparing technical specifications, and maintaining high coding standards. You'll also serve as a technical mentor, coaching others through code reviews and best practices.

The International Selling Partner Experience Team (ISPX) plays a crucial role in making each International Store the preferred Marketplace for Selling Partners. The team's mission focuses on three key areas: enabling easy registration and onboarding for new sellers, providing an excellent listing experience, and supporting business growth through self-service tools.
