Software Development Engineer II, Amazon Connect

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join their Amazon Connect team within the AWS Solutions organization. This role is part of a vision to provide business applications that leverage Amazon's unique experience and expertise, serving millions of companies worldwide. The position focuses on building new AWS services that intersect cloud computing, Big Data, machine learning, AWS Personalize, and customer engagement.

The AWS Customer Engagement services (Amazon Connect, Amazon Pinpoint, Amazon SES) handle over 20 billion customer interactions daily across multiple channels. The team aims to create customer-centric experiences with highly reliable, scalable, and secure engagement services that build customer knowledge and drive growth.

As an SDE II, you'll work in a hands-on environment where team members actively participate in product definition, technical architecture review, iterative development, and code review. The role requires creativity, responsibility, and the ability to dive deep into emerging serverless AWS technologies. You'll need solid understanding of programming languages, distributed microservices, and performance engineering.

The compensation package includes a competitive base salary range of $129,300 to $223,600 depending on location, plus potential equity, sign-on payments, and comprehensive benefits.
