Software Development Engineer II, Amazon Payments

Amazon Payments team is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join their innovative technology team that powers one of Amazon's most profitable businesses. The role involves developing platforms and applications for new payment methods, supporting global CoBrand and Private label credit cards, and managing the world's largest rewards catalog, Shop with Points.

The team is responsible for critical payment infrastructure that enables Amazon's global expansion through FX (Foreign Exchange) capabilities and multi-currency payment processing. The technology stack spans from large-scale distributed systems to machine learning applications in the Big Data space, as well as customer-facing mobile experiences.

As an SDE II, you'll be part of an agile team that moves quickly to bring new features to millions of Amazon customers. The role offers opportunities to innovate and file new inventions while working on mission-critical payment systems. You'll be working with various technologies and architectures, from distributed systems to user experience design.

The position requires strong technical expertise in software development, system design, and architecture. You'll be involved in the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
