Software Development Engineer II, Applied AI

The Applied AI team is part of Worldwide Amazon Stores (WWAS) program focused on saving costs with AI. The team's mission is to build reusable solutions that leverage AI to make knowledge operations work more efficient across WWAS, with a particular focus on Generative AI (Gen AI) and Large Language Models (LLM).

As a Software Development Engineer II, you will:

• Own back-end or full stack design and development of product features
• Build scalable software solutions that meet business requirements
• Work in a DevOps delivery model from requirements to deployment
• Collaborate with Product Managers, stakeholders and other tech teams
• Lead technical solutions through the full development lifecycle
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team practices
• Write high-quality, well-tested code following best practices
