Description For Software Development Engineer II, AWS Data Center Operating Systems

Join AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS), the team responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating all AWS global infrastructure. As a Software Development Engineer II in the Data Center Operating Systems team, you'll be part of the foundation that keeps the cloud running. The role focuses on providing the right parts to technicians at the right time to facilitate accurate and timely execution of tasks, including ingestion, repairs, installs, preventive maintenance, and decommissioning.

You'll work on challenging problems at massive scale, collaborating with UX designers, product managers, and other engineers to build highly distributed systems. The position requires deep technical expertise and strong leadership skills, as you'll be responsible for designing and delivering technically complex projects while mentoring junior engineers.
