AWS EMR Control Plane team is seeking talented engineers to enhance and scale their industry-leading cloud-native big data platform. The role focuses on large-scale distributed systems development, working with technologies like Apache Spark, Hive, HBase, Flink, and Presto. The position offers the opportunity to work alongside senior and principal engineers, developing critical high-performance services and libraries.

The team uses core Java, RESTful microservices, and various AWS services including EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, and more. As part of the Utility Computing organization, you'll contribute to foundational services like S3 and EC2, while working on specialized security solutions for cloud services.
