Software Development Engineer II - DSO, (Level 5)

Demand Science Optimization (DSO) organization at Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join their team working on supply chain software systems using Machine Learning (ML/AI/LLM) and economic modeling.

The role is within the Devices Machine Learning Products (DMLP) team, focusing on building and managing custom ML Platforms and services to support Amazon Devices Forecasting. The team works on critical systems that guide the allocation of billions of dollars across global distribution points for popular devices like Alexa, Kindle, Ring, and Blink.

As an SDE II, you will:

• Design, build & manage custom ML Platforms and services
• Work closely with scientists to improve existing ML model accuracy
• Define system architecture and implement specific components
• Shape the overall forecasting experience
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $129,300 to $223,600 per year based on geographic location, plus equity and comprehensive benefits including medical, financial, and other benefits.
