Description For Software Development Engineer II, Fintech

Amazon's Financial Technology Team is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join their Bangalore office. This role focuses on building high-performance, globally scalable Financial systems that support Amazon's growth. The position is within the tax platform team, responsible for core services that calculate taxes (sales tax and VAT) for all Amazon sales globally and generate tax invoices.

The ideal candidate will work on complex challenges in large-scale computing, handling systems that manage hundreds of millions of records and respond to millions of service requests per minute. You'll be designing and developing services that facilitate global financial transactions worth billions annually, using AWS cloud services and working with cutting-edge technology.

The role offers the opportunity to work with a small development team in a rapidly growing organization, where you'll learn to design, implement and test highly scalable solutions using AWS cloud platform. You'll be working alongside best-in-class professionals in an agile environment, tackling complex problems and ensuring positive customer experiences.
