Amazon's Financial Technology Team is seeking a talented Software Development Engineer II to join their innovative team. This role focuses on building high-performance, globally scalable Financial systems that support Amazon's massive growth trajectory. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with AWS cloud services and create next-generation distributed financial systems that process billions in transactions annually.

As an SDE II, you'll be working on real-world problems at a global scale, owning systems end-to-end and influencing technology directions that impact hundreds of millions of customers. The role involves designing flexible and scalable solutions, utilizing advanced skills in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming. You'll be part of a small development team in one of Amazon's rapidly growing organizations.

You'll be responsible for developing services that facilitate global financial transactions, improving platform performance, and implementing best integration patterns. The role requires collaboration with various teams, including other SDEs, Technical Program Managers, and Functional Analysts.
