Software Development Engineer II, IN Payments

Join Amazon's India Payments team to build next-generation payment solutions in a startup-like environment within Amazon. This role offers an exciting opportunity to design and develop a new Fintech Payments product from the ground up that will serve hundreds of millions of Amazon India customers. You'll work with cutting-edge AWS technologies and build highly reliable, scalable payment systems handling sensitive customer data.

The position involves working on innovative payment solutions including OTP reader and auto-submit, CVV-less transactions, unified recurring payments, and best-in-industry processing latency. You'll collaborate with various payment ecosystem partners including processors, acquirers, networks (Visa/Mastercard/RuPay/AMEX), and banks.

As part of the IN Payments - Cards & Netbanking team, you'll contribute to the mission of making card payments simple, secure, reliable, and rewarding for every user in India. The team offers extensive learning opportunities across diverse problem spaces, from client-side innovations to fault-tolerant Tier1 distributed systems.

The role provides significant growth potential with multiple large initiatives planned, including CVV-less transactions, 3DS 2.0 optimization, and real-time monitoring.
