Software Development Engineer II, Software Development (Miracle Team)

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join their Miracle Team, focusing on helping U.S. Intelligence Community agencies implement innovative cloud computing solutions. This role is part of AWS's mission to expand its global footprint and redefine how AWS designs, builds, and operates regions.

The position requires working with the latest cloud computing technologies and solving complex technical challenges in distributed systems, data mining, automation, optimization, scalability, and security. You'll be part of the AWS Utility Computing (UC) organization, supporting critical services like Amazon S3, EC2, and other foundational AWS services.

As an SDE II, you'll develop critical products enabling AWS's global expansion, working backwards from unique customer requirements. The role demands strong technical expertise in software development, system architecture, and security implementations. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the full software development lifecycle.
