Software Development Engineer - II, SPIV

The Selling Partner Identity Verification (SPIV) team at Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join their mission of ensuring Amazon remains a safe and trustworthy marketplace. This role focuses on building and maintaining a secure and accurate Identity verification platform that serves millions of Amazon customers globally. The team provides end-to-end solutions for identity verification and account lifecycle management across multiple Amazon businesses including Mechanical Turk, Selling on Amazon, Amazon Pay, and Amazon Flex.

As an SDE II, you'll work with large-scale distributed systems and web services-based applications, contributing to systems that operate at massive scale. The role requires strong computer science fundamentals and practical experience in distributed systems development. You'll be responsible for ensuring high accuracy and minimal friction in identity verification processes while maintaining robust security standards.
