Software Development Engineer III, Alexa Connected Devices

Join Amazon's Alexa Connected Devices team as a Senior Software Development Engineer to shape the future of how Alexa-enabled devices connect with Alexa Cloud. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the development of Tier-1 Connectivity services that enable connectivity between millions of Alexa devices (Echo, Smart Home, etc.) and Alexa Cloud. As a technical leader, you'll be responsible for architecting and developing cloud services that handle tens of billions of transactions per day, working to streamline connectivity and improve customer experience.

The position is part of a new team being established in Bangalore, offering the unique opportunity to be involved from inception - setting up the team, transitioning projects, defining roadmaps, and operating multiple tier-1 Cloud Services. You'll work closely with Principal Engineers and other Senior Engineers to brainstorm new ideas and develop forward-looking architectures.

You'll be expected to work independently while guiding team members through complex problems, participate in technical leadership activities, and contribute to the broader Alexa ecosystem architecture.
