Software Development Engineer, Mechatronics and Sustainable Packaging

Amazon's Sustainable Packaging software team is at the forefront of developing technologies that enhance customer experience while reducing environmental impact. This role focuses on leading the Decision Engines and Ships in Product Packaging business and software strategy.

As a Software Development Engineer in this team, you'll be responsible for:

• Delivering technologies that improve customer experience by reducing packaging waste
• Leading mission-critical projects in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
• Working with senior and principal engineers while mentoring junior team members
• Building solutions on a global scale that will be used by all Amazon Fulfillment and Packaging services
• Driving the definition of tech products across selling-partner, shopping, and fulfillment software systems
• Creating extendable design and maintainable technical solutions with long-term vision
