The Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging (MSP) team powers the physical engine at the heart of Amazon. MSP builds and operates software, hardware, and processes that run the global network of fulfillment centers that move millions of inventory units, employ tens of thousands of people, and ensure timely customer deliveries.

As a Software Development Engineer on the MSP Pack team, you will:

• Build and maintain core software and services in Amazon Fulfillment Centers
• Help pack items into packages for worldwide shipping
• Own and deliver highly visible, innovative projects that directly impact customer experience
• Drive technical and architectural vision for a core team
• Be involved in all aspects of the software development cycle
• Work with complex systems that touch every Amazon package
• Solve deep technical problems in a fast-paced environment
• Create pragmatic solutions for complex business problems
• Work closely with operations staff in global fulfillment centers

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $129,300 to $223,600 per year based on location, plus equity, sign-on payments, and comprehensive benefits including medical, financial, and other benefits.
