Software Development Engineer, People eXperience and Technology (PXT)

Amazon's People eXperience Technology (PXT) team is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their A to Z team. This role is crucial in developing software products used daily by 1.5 million Amazonians to manage their careers and stay connected to life at Amazon.

The position involves building products using the latest AWS and third-party technologies, powered by data insights, machine learning, and smart automation. PXT follows a human-centered design approach to support Amazon's mission of being Earth's best employer.

As a Software Engineer in the A to Z team, you'll be responsible for:

• Designing and implementing highly scalable, architecturally sound products
• Working with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems
• Making end-to-end design decisions, including planning and risk assessment
• Guiding architectural decisions across products and teams
• Collaborating with customers, technical staff, and business leaders
• Identifying integration opportunities across the organization
• Establishing long-term system success strategies and best practices

The A to Z team serves as the main entry point for PXT applications, offering both mobile and web interfaces. The platform streamlines employee experiences by providing a unified, user-friendly interface for essential work-related tasks and information.

This role offers competitive compensation ranging from $129,300 to $223,600 per year, depending on geographic location, plus equity, sign-on payments, and comprehensive benefits including medical, financial, and other benefits.
