Join Amazon's Tax Platform Services team to work on one of the world's largest transactional distributed systems. This role focuses on building and maintaining the core tax calculation platform that handles tax computations for all Amazon sales globally, both physical and digital. You'll be part of a team that processes millions of transactions per minute, ensuring accurate tax calculations while staying compliant with complex international tax laws.

The position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge distributed systems at massive scale, handling hundreds of millions of records and responding to millions of service requests per minute. You'll be working in a Java, Linux, and Oracle-based environment, contributing to all aspects of the software development lifecycle from design to operations.

As a Software Development Engineer in the WW Tax team, you'll collaborate with experienced Amazonians across different disciplines, designing and implementing innovative solutions for complex tax calculation challenges.
