Software Engineer, Translation Services

As a Software Development Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of building translation solutions at Amazon's massive scale, working towards 100% translation coverage. The goal is to streamline translations to the point where they become seamless for developers, allowing them to focus on core application development.

The team consists of multiple engineering groups spread across Seattle, WA and Hyderabad, fostering a collaborative environment. Their vision is to ensure language never impedes anyone from using Amazon's products and services. As guardians of translation for Amazon's customers, they provide automated translation services to all Amazon teams while optimizing for quality, speed, and cost.

The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, comfortable with ambiguity, and detail-oriented. You'll be responsible for ensuring secondary language experiences match the quality of primary language experiences across Amazon's vast ecosystem.
