Amazon's Digital Media Technology group is seeking a Software Support Engineer to join their team building unique and exciting digital products for Amazon Kindle, Digital Video, Audio, Music, Audible, and Digital Text. As part of the Software Support Engineering shared services organization, you'll provide multi-faceted application engineering services to multiple Digital product development teams. The role involves working with very smart technical and business people at the forefront of defining and inventing digital media delivery and presentation.
You'll be responsible for developing tools, applications, and code improvements to resolve operational challenges, while providing engineering support and troubleshooting for digital platform services. The position requires interfacing with content acquisition teams, content providers, operations, and technical teams to ensure content publishing and delivery meets service level agreements. You'll work on production builds, tools, and configuration management for software product releases and successful deployments.
