Sr. Data Engineer, GOX - Global Operational Excellence

Amazon's Global Operational Excellence (GOX) team is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join their mission of revolutionizing customer order fulfillment. As a Sr. Data Engineer, you'll be at the heart of Amazon's fulfillment network operations, working to achieve zero defects and improve customer experience through flawless fulfillment. The role focuses on three key areas: successful on-time delivery, speed, and cost optimization.

You'll be part of a dynamic team working alongside Applied Scientists, Software Development Engineers, and Business Intelligence Engineers. Your responsibilities will span across all layers of the data solution ecosystem, from implementing robust infrastructure to building scalable data models that power global operational excellence initiatives.

The position requires expertise in data engineering with large-scale systems, distributed systems, and big data technologies. You'll be responsible for translating business requirements into modular data infrastructure, managing scalable data platforms, and handling large-scale datasets. The role involves working with SQL, Amazon, and AWS big data technologies to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
