Sr. DevOps Engineer, Fulfillment Optimization

Amazon.com is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Fulfillment Optimization team, a critical component of Amazon's supply chain operations. This role focuses on systems that handle millions of requests per second and make business recommendations impacting billions of dollars annually. The team is responsible for promising, planning, and executing the delivery of millions of packages worldwide while optimizing for speed and cost.

The position requires a skilled engineer who can support mission-critical, high-volume applications. You'll work across multiple systems to identify and resolve common issues, directly impacting customer experience. The role involves 12x7 oncall support rotation and requires someone who can quickly adapt and learn new systems.

As part of the Fulfillment Optimization Support team, you'll be instrumental in delivering software and data science solutions that enhance Customer Promise Speed, Order Planning, and Fulfillment. The team leverages data, process improvement, and innovative technologies to provide comprehensive engineering excellence across FO's product portfolios.
