Responsibilities For Sr. Security Engineer, Application Security
- Creating and maintaining threat models for software projects
- Performing manual and automated secure code review in Java, Python and Javascript
- Developing security automation tools
- Conducting adversarial security analysis
- Providing security training and outreach for development teams
- Offering security architecture and design guidance
- Solving complex security problems requiring novel approaches
- Influencing team processes and priorities to improve security outcomes
Requirements For Sr. Security Engineer, Application Security
- BS in Computer Science, Information Security
- 13+ years of demonstrated experience in application security, offensive security or systems security
- Understanding of threat modeling and secure code review
- Knowledge of security vulnerabilities and attacker exploit techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to drive multiple complex security reviews
- Ability to work autonomously
- Experience with AWS architecture (preferred)
- Strong background in application security with focus on scalable solutions (preferred)
