Responsibilities For Sr. Security Engineer, Kuiper Security
- Establish product-specific security bar, threat models & defense priorities
- Identify design & implementation defects
- Provide security consultation services
- Collaborate with business leaders to define security priorities
- Guide teams towards secure-by-default solutions
- Investigate emerging security issues and root cause analysis
- Mentor builders in security practices
- Support Red Teams in security testing
- Propose security vision for the business
Requirements For Sr. Security Engineer, Kuiper Security
- Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years delivering security software in a production environment
- 3+ years experience delivering distributed software systems in Java, Rust, GoLang or C/C++
- 3+ years experience in delivering for cloud-native environments
- 3+ years experience in delivering software for Linux
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
