Sr. Security Systems Engineer, DCE Security Solutions Engineering

Data Center Engineering (DCE)- Security Solutions Engineering team at Amazon Web Services is seeking a Senior Security Systems Engineer to join their team. This role combines technical network expertise with deep understanding of physical security technology and industry standards. You'll be responsible for designing, configuring, and troubleshooting networked security systems, including IP surveillance cameras, access control systems, and intrusion detection systems.

As part of AWS Infrastructure Services, you'll work on critical systems that keep the cloud running, supporting all AWS data centers and their equipment. The role involves leading complex integrations of security systems, managing video monitoring technology, and converting business requirements into system specifications for camera and video monitoring solutions.

The position offers opportunities to work with diverse teams across AWS, including software, hardware, and network engineers. You'll collaborate on challenging problems involving thousands of supply chain variables while maintaining the highest standards for safety and security. The Security Solutions team provides engineering expertise and design support for security devices in data centers globally, owning and supporting security products throughout their lifecycle.
