Sr. Software Development Engineer, Aurora Limitless Database

AWS Utility Computing (UC) is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join their Aurora Limitless Database team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on Amazon Aurora, one of AWS's fastest-growing database services that provides enterprise-class performance, availability, and durability to customers.

The Aurora Limitless Database takes conventional Amazon Aurora further for scalability and high write throughput, designed to meet modern data processing needs with virtually unlimited scaling capabilities. As part of this innovative team, you'll be working on building hyper-scale distributed database services in the cloud, directly impacting hundreds of thousands of AWS database service users.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in designing and implementing highly available communication layer components and protocols, building scalable components in distributed systems, and possess strong knowledge of distributed databases. You'll be joining a diverse, global team that values collaboration and innovation, working alongside database engineers (DBEs) and other stakeholders to create solutions that solve real-world customer problems.
