Responsibilities For Sr. Software Development Engineer, Connectivity Wi-Fi

  • Design, develop and enhance Wi-Fi and networking software for Amazon's consumer products
  • Optimize Wi-Fi and network performance and power consumption for connectivity platforms
  • Engage with vendors to integrate Wi-Fi chipset solutions
  • Collaborate with other software teams to design and deliver unique customer features
  • Provide Amazon Customer Support technical assistance to trouble shoot customer issues

Requirements For Sr. Software Development Engineer, Connectivity Wi-Fi

Linux
  • 7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture experience
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in delivering Wi-Fi/networking based products
  • Knowledge of IEEE802.11/Wi-Fi protocols
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP internals and common network protocols
