Responsibilities For Sr. System Dev. Engineer, Hardware Compute Group

  • Design, develop, and maintain Linux BSPs for multimedia-enabled embedded systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimize multimedia functionalities
  • Customize and configure Linux kernels, drivers, and modules
  • Support Factory tasks for solving assembly line issues
  • Triage and fix integration and production issues
  • Debug and resolve multimedia components issues
  • Optimize system performance, boot time, and power consumption
  • Conduct feasibility studies and performance analysis
  • Create and maintain technical documentation

Requirements For Sr. System Dev. Engineer, Hardware Compute Group

Linux
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years experience in embedded systems development
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming languages
  • In-depth knowledge of Linux kernel internals and device drivers
  • Experience with codec integration and optimization
  • Familiarity with software version control systems (Git)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
