Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Systems Development Engineer to join their Data Center Planning, Delivery, & Operations team. This global team is responsible for designing and operating large-scale, business-critical facilities. The role focuses on developing automation solutions for data center controls, from medium to low voltage systems.

The ideal candidate will work on designing, developing, and implementing software solutions for distributed and automated infrastructure operations. This position requires expertise in data center controls systems, IT infrastructure, networking, facility operations, electrical switchgear and generator automation, along with project management and leadership skills.

As part of the Controls System Development team within AWS's Data Center Engineering organization, you'll collaborate with a global team of builders to develop IOT architecture that integrates on-premise industrial controls with cloud AWS networking, tools, and services. The role offers unique opportunities to innovate in building controls and automation initiatives while working with cutting-edge technology.

This position combines software development expertise with infrastructure operations knowledge, making it ideal for someone who wants to impact the future of data center design and automation. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including System Developers, PLC controls developers, electrical engineers, and site controls engineers to deliver sophisticated innovations in building controls and automation.
