Description For Support Engineer, Amazon Payment Products

Amazon Payments is a critical infrastructure handling millions of daily transactions across multiple countries and payment methods. The team processes tens of billions of dollars annually for over 100 million customers and merchants globally. This role combines support engineering with systems development, focusing on maintaining and improving payment processing systems that handle various features including installments, reward points, in-store payments, pay on delivery, credit/debit payments, seller disbursements, and gift cards. As a Support Engineer, you'll work with distributed systems, troubleshoot complex problems, and contribute to the development of one of Amazon's fastest-growing platforms. The position offers opportunities to work with cutting-edge technology while ensuring mission-critical availability of payment systems. You'll be part of a team-oriented environment in Bangalore, helping to scale and improve Amazon's global payment infrastructure while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and reliability.
