Description For Support Engineer I, AmazonPay

Amazon Payment Merchant Category team at Amazon India Development Center, Bangalore is seeking a Support Engineer to help scale and build the next generation of Payments platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a team building a strategic payments business from the ground up. You'll work on a diverse technology stack including SOA, UI frameworks, big-data and Gen AI, while coding on key pages of the new Payments stack.

As a Support Engineer, you'll collaborate with senior engineers to shape product features that directly impact business metrics. The role involves designing, implementing, and deploying applications focusing on Mobile, Payments, and e-Commerce website development. You'll be responsible for maintaining high software quality standards and working in a fast-paced environment where time-to-market is crucial.

The ideal candidate should be a quick learner, capable of independent work, and able to balance technical leadership with strong business judgment. You'll be involved in key decision-making regarding technology choices and will work with cutting-edge payment systems. This position offers exposure to Amazon's vast technical infrastructure while contributing to critical payment services that power Amazon's global operations.
