Description For Support Engineer II

Alexa Shopping Operations is seeking a Support Engineer II to join their team focused on dataset generation and annotations. This role is crucial in enhancing customer experience across shopping features, devices, and locales. The team works on handling annotations for training, measuring, and improving AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), enabling Amazon to deliver superior shopping experiences worldwide.

As a Support Engineer II, you'll be responsible for becoming a subject matter expert on various services, providing technical support, and working closely with development teams. You'll need to understand complex application code, make approved fixes, and contribute to the creation of support documentation and tools. The role involves mentoring other engineers, participating in deployments, and helping develop operational policies.

  • Become a subject matter expert on one or more services

Requirements For Support Engineer II

  • 3+ years of technical support experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent
  • Knowledge of about AWS integration and usage
