Amazon Lab126, a subsidiary of Amazon.com, is seeking a Support Engineer-II for their Aquila SRE team. This role combines DevOps engineering with site reliability, focusing on maintaining and improving critical OS components, pipelines, and services. The position requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS.

As a Support Engineer, you'll be responsible for first-line support of production services, handling Jiras and tickets, and working on maintenance-driven coding projects. The role involves extensive work with AWS, CDK, and basic C++ programming. You'll be building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, developing automation tools, and creating monitoring solutions.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of software development or technical support experience, with strong Unix/Linux skills and experience in modern programming languages. You'll be working with remote development teams in Sunnyvale, contributing to knowledge base creation, and participating in on-call support rotations.
