Responsibilities For Support Engineer II, Device OS, Device OS

  • Provide first level support for handling Jiras, tickets, and operational issues from production services
  • Deep dive on defects/automation failures to find root cause
  • Interface with other teams to resolve defects and show strong ownership of issues
  • Monitor dashboards and applications to determine service issues
  • Perform code builds and deployments
  • Make changes to existing scripts and develop new tools to reduce manual efforts
  • Help develop and refine operational policies and procedures
  • Write simple and efficient tools to improve operational efficiency
  • Work with development teams, QA/TPM stakeholders to improve documentation and procedures
