  • First line of engineering support working with product support and software engineering teams
  • Own issues to resolution on behalf of Amazonians
  • Coordinate customer communication and track tasks
  • Contribute to development of processes and mechanisms for incoming tickets
  • Extensive troubleshooting tasks across multiple products and services
  • Identify areas of improvement and implement best practices
  • Proactively mitigate issues using innovative solutions

Requirements For Support Engineer III, Benefits Experience & Technology (BXT)

  • 2+ years of software development, or 2+ years of technical support experience
  • Experience scripting in modern program languages
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent work experience
  • Production system technical support experience
  • Knowledge of AWS based technologies
  • Understanding of web services, technical workflows, and software development
  • Experience with log aggregation tools
