Description For Support Engineer, Japan Store Tech

Amazon's Supply Chain Tech team is seeking a Support Engineer to join their Japan Store Tech division. This role combines technical support and software development responsibilities, focusing on supporting Amazon's cross-border carrier partnerships and delivering quality software solutions for Amazon Global Sellers.

The position offers an opportunity to work in a multi-cultural, diverse environment within Amazon's global technology organization. As a Support Engineer, you'll be responsible for leading support activities for Amazon's partnered cross-border carriers and helping deliver world-class software solutions. The role involves technical onboarding support, carrier configuration management, quality assurance, and operational support to ensure service quality meets Amazon's high standards.

The team is part of the greater Japan Store Tech, a global software development group, focusing on creating feature innovations for supply chain experience. Their mission is to unlock faster delivery speeds, lower costs, expand selection, improve selling partner satisfaction, and strengthen synergy between JP and worldwide operations.

Requirements For Support Engineer, Japan Store Tech

  • Experience with REST API based services, XML, JSON
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
  • Bachelor degree in engineering or science majors
  • Pass CET6 or equivalent English capability

  • Basic Linux / Java development knowledge
  • Familiar with JSON, Rest API, XML, Web technologies
